Project Description
Psychomotor therapy is a specialty that takes into account sensory motor functions, emotional and behavioural components as well as cognitive functions. During the therapy, the patient’s body awareness, physical activity as well as relaxation techniques play a major role in order to improve their ability to move. Therefore, it applies a physical approach that takes into account a patient’s awareness as well as their emotions.
The patient care always begins by an assessment of their motor skills so that the therapist can formulate recommendations and an individual therapy plan.
